RFID safe - What is it?

Radio-Frequency Identification (RFID) is the use of radio waves to read and capture information stored on a tag attached to an object. A tag can be read from up to several feet away. These tags include the electronic chips on modern-day bank cards and passports. These chips contain sensitive and personal data, that can be misused if they fall into the wrong hands. 

Special shielding material is inserted during the manufacturing process of the item. This sits behind the outer material to protect your credit cards and ID from unauthorised skimming.

Requires no activation, batteries or any signal to operate.

• If you have ordered an RFID protected bag or wallet from Zoomlite it will not require any activation.
• It is constantly ready to use. The blocking material is built into the bag or wallet and does not need further enabling.
• If your bag or wallet comes with cards explaining the RFID feature, these cards do not need to be kept in the wallet for the RFID blocking technology to work.
